An arty evening for a cause
Swish social dos organised to benefit social causes, especially those in the area of animal conservation, are a great hit with the capital’s janta. A melange of artistes and partygoers, for instance, walked down the corridors of a five-star recently to promote the cause of tiger conservation.
The occasion was an art exhibition in which the works focused on the tiger, and it did some good, both for that noble animal and the equally beautiful party animals of Delhi.

From environmentalist and social activist Maneka Gandhi and artistes like Baba Anand, Sanjay Bhattacharya and Binoy Varghese, to former model Simar Dugal, the social directory of the exhibition was quite full, and of course, host Aarti Singh was more than glad.
The exhibition featured works of artistes like Anjolie Ela Menon, Satish Gujral, Baba and Sanjay. Radhika Kapoor, an art lover from Mumbai, said, “The work is simple and that’s why it draws you to it and stirs your emotions.”
